Frequently Asked Questions

  • The short answer is yes! Research has shown that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person for most clinical issues. There are some presenting concerns where I may recommend in-person services, such as suicidal ideation or substance abuse, but for most of my clients online therapy is a great option.

  • You’ll need a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with a working camera and microphone, as well as a strong Internet connection. We’ll meet on a secure, HIPAA-compliant online platform for sessions. I ask that you join from a quiet, confidential space to minimize distractions and protect your privacy.

A huge benefit to online therapy is comfort. I highly recommend joining your session in comfy clothes with your favorite warm beverage and blanket. :)

  • Each 50-minute session is $125. Payments can be made with most major credit, debit, or HSA cards.

  • I am in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health.

If you have out-of-network benefits with your carrier, I can provide a “superbill” for you to submit for possible reimbursement. This means you’re responsible for the fees at the time of your appointment, and depending on your plan, a certain percentage of that may be paid to you by your insurance company. Please reach out if you have questions.

  • I am available for sessions Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
